// NEWS: SUMMER PICNIC
Thanks to everyone who stayed after our training session on Saturday for another of our club picnics.
These are such a good opportunity for the juniors to get to know each other outside of the skills sessions, and especially those new members.
We always find its important for them to create those bonds with other junior members, as they feel more at ease then during the lessons and subsequently get more out of the lesson itself.
As always, the parents stepped up with some great home baking/cooking, resulting in a very impressive spread! Thanks to all who contributed.

// Special Guests
We also had a guest, Noam Sohachevsky, who is working with British Cycling on an upcoming project aimed at increasing engagement in cycling for young people.
Lots of our juniors had a great time colouring & designing their own club badge with Noam.
// Go Ride
We had some of the prizes on display, that our Junior Go Ride team won in last season’s campaign to help promote the new season. The new season starts on Sep 21st.

// Next Summer?
It’s unfortunately looking like summer might be over, if the forecasters are to be believed so it might be tricky to fit another of these into the calendar.
However, the coaches are always happy to answer any of your questions, after our sessions on Saturdays.
