Round 1 of Limited Edition’s Winter Series, was held at a club favourite, Elmstead Woods Primary School. The venue has hosted several Go Rides in the past, but Coach Jay had a surprise in store, with a new take on his tricky Cyclo-Cross circuit.

Results look good in very tough conditions. Podiums for Lola and Edie. League title wrapped up for Lola.

Multiple fallers, multiple mechanicals, and the first real mud of the season, but everyone carried on, got back on, or just picked up the bike and carried it. No DNFs.

Clear skies and sunshine on the journey down had us looking forward to a day of racing. However, the biting cold wind that greeted us all quickly reigned in the enthusiasm.

The tight and twisty circuit is more suited for mountain biking than cross according to a friendly Commissaire.

Next up in the Cross League was a trip to South London and a return to the scene of the ‘Massacre at the Palace’ last season!
